eBay 8 Frame Top Hive Feeder Features Our newly designed top hive feeder has the following features: Easy clean-up by lifting safety screen cover Sturdy galvanized steel tray ensures no leaks Large tray Holds 2 gallons of sugar syrup Screen ladder and safety cover minimizes drown bees Allows for wet or dry feeding Available for 10, 8 or 5 frame hives Entrances to feeder on both ends Sits directly on top of the uppermost box that has bees (do not use inner cover) Allows Feeding Of Hives In The Winter Without Exposing Bees To Cold. Comes fully assembled How is it constructed? Rough cut yellow Cypress is planed down to a perfect ¾” thickness The corners are rabbeted and attached using 1.5″ 16-gauge galvanized nails and Titebond wood glue The galvanized steel tray is hand shaped to fit snugly into the wooden frame We use 12-gauge 1/8″ galvanized steel mesh to make the ladder and the safety cover.
